The mini-book has the story as told in the gospel of Mark, with text used with permission from an accessible version of the Bible, the NIrV.

The bold, bright artwork by Catherine Pape is as culturally, historically and geographically accurate as we could make it, as we know that children (and adults!) learn theology from pictures!
There are no stickers or story on Sundays, as traditionally they are no included in Lent. Instead there is time to catch up if you need to, and some questions to help you think and chat about the story together.

This calendar is genius! I love the way the stickers cleverly overlay the background to show the action and events of the run up to Easter. It is perfectly pitched for my children ages 6,5 and 3 and I loved doing it every day too. As it is portable, we took it with us away from home to do. I have already bought one for next year and one for each of my siblings’ families. Well worth the money. I would highly recommend.
