Mountains is the third of a series exploring the Psalms (see the others here: Longing (Psalm 13) and Protected (Psalm 91)).
Mountains explores Psalm 121, a wonderful song of all God’s people where the writer says:
I look up to the mountains.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord.
He is the Maker of heaven and earth.
He won’t let your foot slip.
He who watches over you won’t get tired.
In fact, he who watches over Israel
won’t get tired or go to sleep.
There are three games to play to explore and start to memorise the psalm, including an awesome Psalm Bingo!
There are also three ways to pray with the psalm, using cars and shadows and finding your local ‘mountain’.
As always, there’s something to ponder, aimed more at older children and adults – it’s great to explore and journey together!
