• Random selection – cut the cards pick one, and do that activity.

• Go through them one by one. Then go back and use your favourites.

• Find four cards with the same picture and do all four.

• Choose by number:
1 to thank You to God,
2 to say sorry to God,
3 to say please can you …, God,
4 to chat with God.

The ideas are sorted by cards number:

2 Sorry prayers e.g. washing your hands

3 Please prayers e.g. eating fruit segments

4 Chat prayers e.g. using coloured icing to make models

The activities are aimed at families to use together at home, and use simple items most families will easily be able to get hold of. However, they are also brilliant for children’s groups or All-Age services, either for groups to pray together or for prayer stations.

The cards are all numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4 plus a picture, so you can play all the usual children’s card games with them, but you can also use them to get simple, creative, fun prayer ideas.
